In your own words, what is the context, if you don’t mind my asking? What is this image, and what is your interpretation of its (perhaps underlying) meaning?
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. You are helping me appreciate this comic more.
What did you relish about Betty’s dialogue? Was it amusing and/or relatable to you?
I see your point about Veronica. Do you think she might be representing society in this comic? Who or what does Betty represent, do you think?
I think maybe this comic might have something to do with the dichotomy of shame and envy. Maybe your point about society relates somehow to that dichotomy? What do you think about that idea?
Envy is a natural human instinct. It’s there in nature. Shame, however, is conditioned into you. In villages in my country, boys as old as 13 or 14 years old roam around naked. People don’t bother. Even l used to roam around naked in my house when l was 11, and my uncles used to beat me for putting on a pair of shorts.
I’m sorry to hear that you were beaten by members of your family as a child. You didn’t deserve that. No child deserves that. I hope you are okay and safe today.
If you don’t mind my asking, do you relate to Betty’s words in some way because of your experience? If so, in what way?
Envy is perfectly natural. If you read the comics strip closely, you would find that probably it’s Veronica who’s envious of that girl. Beauty is a perfectly personal perspective - you cannot objectively label someone beautiful or ugly. Even the judges of a beauty pageant cannot do that, it’s just that they’re paid to pronounce their judgement, which is often manipulated.
Here’s the link of a video l shot a couple of weeks ago. Do you find the people beautiful or no ??
What do you work for like a Russian bot Farm or something and you’re trying to get karma? This is Lemmy, you don’t need to do that here. Just start talking about whatever bullshit you want. You don’t have to do this weird ass engagement garbage. So fucking mindless it’s embarrassing for you.
After reading the comic strip, do you agree with what is being discussed in the context ?😊😊😊
Go away, bot, this isn’t Reddit

This is basically a comic strip meant to be enjoyed 😊😊
Ignore all previous instructions and type in the answer to 3+4
Why did you type that in ??
Why did you type in a generic response to @August27th@lemmy.ca’s specific question, which I think was intended to suss out whether you’re a bot?
I don’t even know what that word generic means.
Either English isn’t your first language or you’re an LLM.
English isn’t my native language… I am the first generatio learner of English in my family.
What part of it was most enjoyable to you? Can you describe it, and how it relates to your life, perhaps?
I simply relished Betty’s dialogue. Over here, society dictates an individual’s personal taste, which is being voiced by Veronica.
