    People hate me when I share my boiled peanuts. I deliberately mix half and half, regular and Cajun spicy.

      Now THAT is a good idea. I was undecided today, but decided to go with Boiled Peanuts Classic. They’re good of course, but Cotton Patch will always be a little sus because they spell both “boiled” and “peanuts” correctly.

      I’ve been boiling my own lately and supplement the salt with a generous helping of Adobo “all purposes seasoning”, which is mostly garlic salt. Very nice flavor, but the only raw peanuts I have access to are dry as dust and still a bit too firm after a good six hours of boiling, and that is a lot of work and energy when no one else in the house even likes them.

        I use roasted peanuts in a pressure cooker because I can’t find raw peanuts anywhere. Works great.
