Edit: I want to back my stance up here with an example of what I did about 3 years ago. JavaScript doesn’t suck and it’s performance is more than adequate for most applications. If you are doing some serious number crunching you might want to look at web assembly, but last time I checked it doesn’t actually have access to the DOM so it’s not really got any control over the page itself.

JavaScript is great. Typescript is better. Give JavaScript a go and if you want more safety try typescript.

I personally use the Vue framework for my web apps but there are many others out there, and if you really want to keep things clean you can opt out of using Frameworks altogether.

Anyway, you are never going to be able to completely avoid JavaScript no matter what approach you take, so if suggest learning some and making up your own mind

I run 25k a week and do about 100 crunches a day, maybe some pushups and resistance bands if I remember to. I tend to just listen to my body. 2 meals a day, usually a big meal in the evening and a small breakfast/lunch.

Protein post workout and a good mix of carbs, fibre and protein all the rest of the time.
