What are you talking about, man? Seems like you have plenty of time to waste. Oh well, I guess you’re not a very serious, introspective person.
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft employee disrupts 50th anniversary and calls AI boss ‘war profiteer’English0·1 month agoMy kind? What does that even mean? You’ve spent just over a day replying to me. You clearly have the time. I feel like a broken record, but why are other people obligated to put in the effort that you aren’t?
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft employee disrupts 50th anniversary and calls AI boss ‘war profiteer’English0·1 month agoLike I said, man, you demand sources while offering none. Who are you to demand from others what you do not provide? Just some guy. Certainly, you can’t think that is persuasive or even a valuable use of your time?
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft employee disrupts 50th anniversary and calls AI boss ‘war profiteer’English0·1 month agoAnd we’re back to you demanding things from people. You provide sources whe YOU make a claim. So, I guess we’ll see how that works for you.
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft employee disrupts 50th anniversary and calls AI boss ‘war profiteer’English0·1 month agoMy man, I’m not commenting on any specific fact. You demanded sources up and down in these replies, but you then also insist everyone google your claims. That is certainly one of the techniques of all time.
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft employee disrupts 50th anniversary and calls AI boss ‘war profiteer’English0·1 month agoWhat the fuck are you on about? I’m commenting on your demand for sources while also providing none for numerous claims. Interesting strategy. You must have studied Plato.
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft employee disrupts 50th anniversary and calls AI boss ‘war profiteer’English0·1 month ago‘Source for thee, but none for me’ is an interesting rhetorical strategy. Let’s see how it works out.
I vote OP take the meme down and repost it with Shiela Jeffries or Camille Paglia replacing the feminist…
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you believe that most people of your political creed don't?2·3 months agoI never claimed there was anything wrong with money? As far as I thought, I was arguing that it was a tool so useful it would be reinvented if a society did away with it.
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you believe that most people of your political creed don't?3·3 months agoI wouldn’t kill my neighbor? Was that too complicated an example? I think that money, like an axe, is a tool that can be used differently in different contexts. ‘Money’ isn’t the issue. How it’s used is the issue, which is why I think we would invent it. You don’t solve the ‘issues’ of an axe. You don’t solve the ‘issues’ of money. Capitalism uses stand-ins for value to harm people, but I am not convinced it’s an inherent trait of value stand-ins. I think LV’s are money, so I think you think that is true also.
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you believe that most people of your political creed don't?42·3 months agoI am aware of this. It’s functionally no different than a dollar bill. The fact that I intend to melt down an axe after I use it to chop a tree down doesn’t make it not an axehead. If I used that same axe to hack my neighbor to death, well, that’s a completely different use. In the case of communist ‘money’, I think we would cease using money to kill our neighbor.
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you believe that most people of your political creed don't?42·3 months agoAnything you exchange as a representation or substitute for something else of value. I think communism would reinvent what I consider money but wouldn’t use it as it’s used under capitalism.
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you believe that most people of your political creed don't?21·3 months agoI think if we eliminated money, we would just invent it again and call it something else.

Has a very obvious pattern of enshitification not been constantly proven as a rule on the tech sector? And an article is… outrage?
Nosavingthrow@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•After 40 years of being free Microsoft has added a paywall to NotepadEnglish0·3 months agoOh god, how will replace a completely basic word processor? Surely there are not numerous replacements?

My boss told me, ‘Should be fine like that.’ I listened to him, lift the skid, and it IMMEDIATELY tipped over. Your boss isn’t driving. You are.
Logic: propoganda he ate up.
