Gen Z definitely drinks a lot, at least in my personal experience, but studies agrees with the comic, so I guess it would depend on the country/age group
Scotch as in the tape, not the whisky

try out Gallery (yes, it’s really called just “Gallery”), I’ve found it to be the best one out there, even better then aves
furiously searches for that one video from 5 years ago
yeah you should absolutely support your local library if you can, I’m just an introvert who doesn’t like it
am I dumb or just not getting it? where is BIM written
try anna’s archive and sci-hub next time, they usually have most papers for free
happening right now. I guess it’s a sign
it is, but you need to have some chemistry knowledge to be able to extract it from things like anal lube, and that’s where I think this DIY project will shine
just like nuclear fusion, it was 10 years away 10 years ago, it’s 10 years away now and it will be 10 years away 10 years from now
i mean, usually wikipedia’s references ARE from those old books
headlights?
hell nah I’m just gonna sip on some water and patiently wait for the moment where I’m suddenly treated as their savior for still being able to drive
x: your eyes are as bright as a star
my dumbass: actually, did you know that the sun outputs 3.83×1026 W? that’s so much that the energy output by the Sun in just one hour could power the Earth for about 56.1 trillion years at the current global consumption rate. Or, if you …blah blah blah something something Kardashev scale…
yeaaaa not my proudest move
as someone who just doesn’t like the taste of alcohol, being the only sober guy in a friend group where everyone’s drunk sucks so much
right, you fan disabile them using their unique software which you have to install for every component, signing away your life (cough cough Disney) in the process
https://blog.cloudflare.com/turnstile-private-captcha-alternative/
TL:DR cloudflare made a new recaptcha which does some complex math and other stuff on your browser, which done once has no noticable effect but if someone were to scrape websites at an absurd speed it slows everything down significantly.
this is not only cool because you don’t have to manually solve the captcha, but also because it allows for low-speed scraping to be feasible, with tools like flaresolverr
and you’d be right. If you are sure about it, and you know how it works, just make it yourself, so that you don’t need to put anyone else in danger of getting sued.
The reason hardware stores don’t sell them is that people WILL use them in a dangerous way, and they don’t want to be held responsible.
in AC, which is what home electricity uses, the polarity is constantly switching, from + , then - , then + , and so on, 50 or 60 times a second depending on where you live. This means that, unlike batteries, it’s symmetrical, and you can just splice the cables and attach two male plugs together and they will work regardless, even if you somehow attach the neutral to live and live to neutral, in fact in many countries you can actually buy just the plug without the cable and then you can assemble it yourself in whatever way you please.
of course tho, this should be done only if you have a decent understanding of electricity, and it should not be attempted by someone who lacks those competences, hence why hardware stores “gatekeep” male to male plugs. If you really need one and are sure you understand how they work, you can probably make one yourself.
How people are so confident in sharing their DNA, something you cannot change, that you will carry on for your entire life, and that can uniquely identify you with just a small sample, to a private, profit-driven company still amazes me
And the worst part is, even if you’re careful about it, all that’s needed is a relative doing it and now the company can basically tell most of your family tree
And all for what, knowing the parents of the parents of your parents come from some neighboring country? No shit, Sherlock, people move around
