Not sure if it’s compatible with your particular lock, but I’ve got switchbot stuff integrated into home assistant without issue (using their hub).
For a lot of devices that will leave an unsecured wifi network on that will
And this criticism of ‘the greens only show up every 4 years’ is in bad faith. The greens run in other elections as well, you just only hear about the presidential elections because that’s the only time they get some media attention.
This list has a bunch of school board members, city councillors, even a mayor on it. They do run in local elections, and even win sometimes.
Earnings is different from profits.
The only sane answer in this whole thread.
Isn’t that basically the point of the extension? Making sure you’re not tricked into watching BS content?
This might actually be one of the few things AI could be used for. ChatGPT could download the transcript and just build a short summary.
Although chances are you’re just replacing one shitty thing with a different shitty thing.
Yeah, why the hell is OP using SMS?
He got rid of everyone else when he took over, he’s still dealing with court cases about how he handled that.
Having worked with designers in an ad agency (although not a designer myself), the male designers didn’t ever have a good thing to say about the work of any of the female designers. Consequently, none of them stuck around for long (one of them is a creative director in a big agency now, so presumably she wasn’t that bad).
Then again, they were assholes in many other respects as well, and the guys in the next companies I worked for were a lot better.
I mean, it would be nice to see a comparison between a Chinese loan and a loan by the IMF. Maybe the sting still has to come because they haven’t been doing it for as long, but there’s got to be a good reason those countries go with China instead of the IMF.
To me it seems like IMF loans involve privatising revenue generating assets, lowering taxes on the wealthy and austerity on the masses. The biggest criticism of the Chinese way of financing is that if you default on the loan you used to build a port/highway/railway line, they keep that specific asset. And I guess instead of using local labour they use Chinese workers.
There’s definitely things to criticise there, but I know which option I’d pick if I needed a port in my country.
Or back in the days where Google Reader was a thing, one request from them could represent millions of readers.
Yep, handing out a flyer, or even just talking is an engagement. This means nothing.
Since HEART has launched, the county has engaged with roughly 215 people on the street, according to the commissioner.
So in 2 years they spent $3 million dollars to “help” 215 people. And the article is very vague and full of euphemisms that make me suspect they’re just pushing them out to Denver.
That’s probably exactly what happens. Or they get a bus ticket to the nearest big city that does have some services, after which conservatives can rail about how the city has become a hellhole that’s full of homeless people.
If they’ll let you.
The problem is that once one manufacturer starts doing this, they’ll all do it, so you won’t even have the option of buying a new car without a subscription.
Hamas had a whole investigation and remediation in the space of days, in the middle of a war zone. Meanwhile we’re still waiting to find out who killed Shireen Abu Akleh over 2 years ago.
And election campaigns only last a few weeks as opposed to the seemingly constant campaign in the US.
And parties publish manifestos with their positions on everything, as opposed to what both major parties are currently doing.
