The line is consent. Always has been.
EDIT: so many of you bending over backwards defending that creepy shit. Mind boggling.
Doesn’t know the lyrics. Just goes meow meow meow.

Fine I’ll repeat. Generating nonconsensual sex videos is not in your mind. Focus mate. Y’all clearly gotta lay off the LLMs, it’s bad for your cognition.
Generating nonconsensual sexual videos is not something you think, it’s something you do.
Also Google’s now retired motto: “Don’t Be Evil”.
Good on you for owning up and best of luck. You did well being transparent about your process. I’m going to add two things about generative AI:
I’m not going to read in detail a text you can’t be assed to write in detail. From a glean I’ll say two things:
Right? We got two opinions on genAI among our non techs:
There’s definitely an opening there, but it’s an uphill battle.
Aw come on, debugging can be fun. I love the investigative vibe of it. You get to be your favorite detective. You start asking around. You pin the the culprit. You get closer and closer to damning evidence. And then Bam! Fixed. Another mystery solved. Mine’s Columbo.
That sounds really awesome. Can you be bullied by stronger players, or you can just do your thing and interact if you wanna? Not into competing/fighting other players personally.
IT is not known to be a very diverse field, so I guess it’s not surprising that some music would be more popular with our crowd.
I like post-punk, post-rock, shoegaze, synthpop, electronica, dungeon synth, ambient, chanson française, that’s mostly it. If I had to pick one all time favorite band Cranes would be it. Discovery of the moment is Dry Cleaning.
I agree with you that failing to support multiple browsers is an old problem, but I think the cause has shifted.
Back in the last century, supporting both browsers amounted to sniffing the browser and implementing the same feature twice. document.layers
vs document.all
for example.
Nowadays I think the problem is different: we just don’t know what’s going on. The site is transpiled from TypeScript, written on top of React or Vue which drastically switches paradigm (bonus for Tailwind), packed with building tools, and the average dev has little understanding of what actually comes out. It’s a tall stack of leaky abstractions on top of the already tall one of the web. The dev is pretty sure it works on Chrome so they say it does work there, but it was not even a deliberate choice.
I think yall (the mod team) still misunderstand what you did wrong. You’re just repeating yourself. The problem is not that you failed to announce the migration, it is that you thought it was your choice to make, and that it even was an actionable decision. The fediverse, with each instance having it’s own communities, userbase and set of alliances & blockades, does not afford for unilateral deportation of a community.
Furthermore as moderators of a community you’ll always have to deal with instance admins. The fact you can’t cope with Ada’s safe space policy is a bad look. Quoting one debatable decision as “proof” is not helping. Your perception that you are somehow immune to ever disagreeing lemmy.world’s admins is strange.
What rotten news.
If you want to move to some big reddit-like instance, then you move you and let the ones that what to meme in a safe space do it. As you’ve noticed, communities can’t be moved to other instances. I would ask you to kindly take the hint.
imho you should simply start your far reaching 196 elsewhere and leave this one to be modded by someone else. Not everybody is fond of playing in traffic.
Ahah fuck it I’m taking the worst decision: I’m grabbing that hermetic spec, I’m cannibalizing every other implementation under the sun and I’m writing my own. Because you only live once
Heh, I didn’t know Luigi liked Breloom. Fine taste in Pokémon. I’m all in for this badass grass type becoming an obscure symbol for class war.
I don’t understand wikipedia account’s reply. Is it a pun? Help
LLMs will replace software engineers any day now!
Also LLMs:
Found it, it’s NBC. But really google “luigi among us”: the news are seriously trying to drum up the DANGERS OF VIDEO GAME VIOLENCE again based on Luigi Mangione playing Among Us.
Remember this thread is about a bot commodifying the production of cumshot videos from any person’s photo. I fail to see any nuance here. There is only one use: generating porn featuring people that don’t want to. Decency rules continues to apply to general use tools as it always did.
