Correct - not direct drive, but seems like that’s not really a necessary goal for most of us. If you really need to be able to just drive non stop all day while the sun is out, I don’t think that’s been solved yet (would still have to stop for gas even).

Em Spaint is the only tool I use for editing jiffs. It’s top notch.

I dumped Adobe completely several years ago, and found that Pixelmator has been an excellent Photoshop replacement. It even now does vector images - used to use an app called Graphic for that (for an Illustrator replacement), but should now be able to do all of that from Pixelmator.

I like the comic, but bro, the apostrophe horror. Or was the joke that MAGATs can’t use apostrophes? In that case, A+ and beautifully subtle.

This is my beef with religion. Many seem to push the core idea that you should be honest, kind, generous, and forgiving for the promise of future rewards (heaven, or whatever comparable idea, depending on the belief system) or the prevention of future punishment and suffering (hell, etc), not for the simple pursuit of being a better person or improving the world around you.

Growing up in the eighties in the Los Angeles area, we frequently had “smog alert” days at school where we were not allowed to run around at recess. That was not very long ago, and the impact emissions regulations have had just in that short time can’t be understated. Baffling that we elected in a party that wants to roll all of that back.

Have seen this at least one gajillion times. Almost a perfect movie.
