Exactly. It takes a lot of strength and courage to try to change and even more to post about this in a public forum. Kudos to @vestmoria@linux.community 💚

I won’t shut up if the person says they’re trying to quit and you’re telling them “it’s fine, keep drinking”.
You’re not being helpful, in fact I’d argue you’re actively trying to harm the original poster. Disgusting.
A couple of beers is definitely alcoholism, if we go by 0,33L of 5vol% beers.
Every drop of ethanol is harmful to your body. Doing it every day without pause is certainly alcoholism.
You’re right that the definition of alcoholism is debated but in this thread, the poster is clearly showing signs of not being able to abstain, loss of control over their consumption and they even call themselves “alcoholic”. It’s harmful when there is an alcoholic trying to change to tell them it’s not a problem.

Studies show you should consume absolutely no alcohol and even recommendations by nonbelievers range from 10-24g of alcohol per day, which means that the 28g from two beers is certainly above the limit.

Don’t put all of it in the fridge at once.
Please don’t promote alcoholism. A couple beers a day is alcoholism.
Is there an Open Source alternative to this? I know ActivityWatch but I don’t think it supports screenshots and data extraction/summary of those.
Yeah, I don’t get people trying to make easy money but not give other people money for their work. Don’t get it. India has lots of capable designers.
Maybe Kanboard? Or Taiga?
hm, I just read through a few publications pertaining the Navier–Stokes equations and the scientific community still didn’t seem to find out why they’re not 100% accurate even in lab conditions because of threedimensional interference, is that correct?
Did they finally find that out? Last time I checked even PhDs in aerospace engineering still added “we think” at the end of their explanations.
Agnostic Satanist. It’s basically the same as humanism but also triggers religious fundamentalists.
I also read the bible extensively and have a bible app on my phone with bookmarks to tell people how Jesus was most likely gay and so on. Most religious people didn’t even read their own damn texts haha
Rebecca Black - Friday?
That’s the point isn’t it?
Watch out to enable “keep on delete” features. I didn’t do that and didn’t see that gigabytes of personal photos got deleted which I had to recover from an old backup. Still don’t know how it happened as I only found out a few weeks after the fact.
Sync is not backup! If there’s a software bug or a wrong setting sync can delete your files. Syncthing is pretty mature so I doubt this was a Syncthing bug, however you shouldn’t only trust Syncthing. I’m doing btrfs snapshots weekly and delete them after three years for important folders nowadays.
Who has time for that?
Managers.
Chipolo. Small company but it works. Doesn’t really help you find stolen stuff but you can be notified and the things can beep loudly if they are distanced from you.
It helps me find my keys and not forget anything when I leave the house. I guess they already paid for themselves by reducing the time I spend backtracking.
They also have an airtag compatible version.
Or a very very old database system, possibly DB2, where you can’t change the column limits or data types after the fact.
That’s what they want you to believe.
Too drunk to write a single coherent sentence yourself? 🤡🍻
